I had attended Sunday School for 23 years and been on a church roll for 15 years before I realized the difference between having religion and having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Finally, late one night in my home, I read chapters 5, 6, and 7 of the Gospel of Mathew and meditated on the words of Jesus through the late night and early morning hours. The result being that the following morning I admitted to both God and myself that even though I had been a professer of Jesus, I had never became a possessor of Jesus. It was then and there that I knelt before the Lord, repented of my sin, and by faith received Jesus into my heart. I soon followed him in believer's baptism. Shortly later, I heard and accepted God's call upon my life into the ministry. The Lord allowed me to serve as pastor of three special churches for a total of 17 years. In 1995, God called me to full time vocational evangelism. Looking back, my wife, Kerry, my children, Joshua, Jacob, and Jordan, and I are forever grateful for the tremendous opportunity to follow the Lord's calling on my life since 1977.
As an evangelist, the Lord has allowed me the privilege to share His gospel in:
Sporting Events (Rodeos, Sports Camps, etc.)
School Assemblies (Both public and private)
My desire in life is that I might always be found to be "steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord."
